Exploring the Future of Wellbeing Coaching
Over the past four years, I have delivered weekly trauma-informed wellbeing coaching sessions and have seen first-hand the changes people describe in their everyday lives. Client feedback and evaluations have shown positive experiences and outcomes, but they have also raised an important question: how can we better understand and measure the impact of wellbeing coaching?
Our wellbeing can affect many areas of our lives—from how we feel physically and emotionally to how we manage relationships, work, stress and change. Yet too often, we only begin thinking about our wellbeing when something has already gone wrong or we reach a point of crisis.
Through our Research & Innovation work, Taylor Wellbeing wants to explore a different possibility: what if we took a more proactive approach to our wellbeing?
Why Wellbeing, Why Now?
It’s time to have a conversation about wellbeing.
What Are We Exploring?
Taylor Wellbeing is developing a research initiative exploring how culturally responsive, trauma-informed wellbeing coaching may support the mental and emotional wellbeing of people from Black and Global Majority communities, including creatives working in high-pressure environments.
We are particularly interested in understanding whether personalised, short-term wellbeing coaching can help people develop greater self-awareness, confidence and sustainable wellbeing practices—and what makes that support meaningful and accessible to different communities.
