Facilitated Conversations & Conflict Support

Taylor Wellbeing provides facilitated conversations and conflict support for teams and working relationships in film, television, theatre and other creative settings. Through separate confidential conversations, facilitated joint sessions and reflective dialogue, we help people address difficulties, improve communication and rebuild working relationships.

Support is led by Sam Llewellyn, founder of Taylor Wellbeing. Sam has more than 20 years’ experience facilitating groups in sensitive, emotionally charged settings, including running three to four recovery groups a week for over eight years and, since 2018, working as a wellbeing coach and group facilitator at Women and Girls Network. She trained in transpersonal counselling and psychotherapy and began her career in television production.

Why Facilitated Conversations Matter

Creative projects often bring together people with different perspectives, communication styles and ways of working. Tight deadlines, emotional pressure and challenging subject matter can sometimes lead to misunderstandings, tension or unresolved conflict.

When difficulties are addressed early and constructively, teams have an opportunity to understand different perspectives, establish healthier ways of communicating and move forward together. Our approach prioritises psychological safety, curiosity and mutual respect, creating space for difficult conversations to take place in a supportive and constructive way.

How we can help

Support is tailored to the needs of each organisation and may include:

Confidential one-to-one conversations and facilitated group sessions.

Separate confidential conversations with each person before any joint session

Facilitated conversations and reflective dialogue

Conflict prevention and early intervention

Workshops exploring communication, boundaries and team dynamics

Practical strategies to strengthen collaboration and rebuild trust

Every organisation is different. We tailor our support to the needs of your team, your values and your working environment.

How we Work

Our support is confidential, within the limits of safeguarding and the law. We offer coaching, facilitation and reflective practice. We do not provide therapy, legal advice or formal investigations. Where a situation involves discrimination, harassment or a formal complaint, we will say if a different process is needed and help you find it.

Our Approach

Every group, workshop or conversation is designed around the people involved and the issue they are facing. Our approach is trauma-informed, relational and practical. It is shaped by Sam’s four-year training in counselling and psychotherapy, which included a range of therapeutic models such as Gestalt, by specialist group facilitator training, and by more than twenty years of running groups and workshops in sensitive settings.

Over that time, Sam has built a wide collection of resources and exercises, and chooses those that suit each client and group, such as guided reflection, creative activities, psycho-educational material, and grounding and breathing practices.

In practice, that means:

  • Attention to what is happening now. Noticing how each person is hearing the other, and what is going unsaid.

  • Everyone being heard. Each person has space to speak, to listen and to take responsibility for their own part without blame.

  • Awareness of stress and power. Pressure, hierarchy and past experience all shape how people communicate.

  • Practical outcomes. Sessions end with agreements and next steps people can act on.

By developing a greater understanding of themselves and others, individuals and teams can communicate more effectively, appreciate different perspectives and build healthier working relationships.

Working Better Together

Effective conflict resolution is not simply about resolving disagreements. It can help individuals draw on their strengths, recognise and appreciate the contributions of others, and develop greater respect for different perspectives and ways of working.

Differences within a team can be a source of creativity, learning and growth. What matters is how those differences are communicated, understood and managed. By developing healthier approaches to conflict, teams can build stronger relationships and work together more effectively.
